I don't have anything specific to talk about, so this is more of an update because I haven't updated in awhile.

Writing has been tough as of late.  But as I take a step back and look at this through a longer lens, I think I'm doing fine.  Let me explain.

This is simultaneously a small and HUGE update.  Small, because not much has changed in the last nine days.  Huge, because what did change is incredibly important.  

It's a Man's World - Second Society

I'm currently 14 chapters in and really liking the story so far.  I have to admit though, this is by far the darkest story I've written.  As before, I have to give a warning as I'll not only be talking about the story so far, I'm going to be talking about where the story is going.  If you don't want to know what's going to happen then you'd best not read this post.  Still here?  Good!

Should be a quick update as not much has changed.  I just didn't want this getting out of hand and going over a month again.  

Impediments to Writing

There have always been things that have gotten in the way, but should I try to actively get past them now?  It's been floating through my head for a few weeks now, and I figure this is as good as time as any to think it through.  Or in this instance.... write it through.

Fetishizing Fetishes

Almost everybody that knows me here knows that I have a fetish.  Feminization.  But it goes way beyond that.  And let's face it, there are hundreds, thousands, hundreds of thousands, of fetishes.  I obviously can't talk about all of them, but I wanted to touch on the subject a bit as it's been playing around in my head.  This might be a wandering post, so be forewarned.  

It's A Man's World - Beginning a new project

I have to start this post with the same caveat that should come with all these 'behind the scenes' writing posts.  I'm going to write a bit about my process but I'm also going to be writing about the story itself.  This is, in a way, going to be far more planned than Gamer Gurl.  So, if you don't want to know about It's A Man's World story details before I write them out, this is your getting off point.  

Writing Questions

My mind is all a flutter.  Normally when I feel this way I can sit back, focus, and get through what's bothering me.  But today, I can't seem to get past these thoughts.  Maybe it's just because I have to many thoughts in mind, but maybe it's something else.  Anywho, I think I'll try writing this out and see if it helps.  

Car Shopping Again Part 6!

It's all but done.  I left you off in the last post with B wanting to go look at the Chevy Malibu Premier and if he couldn't work a deal, look at the Ford Fusion Energi SE Luxury.  Friday rolls around and he's out the door to the shitty Dodge dealership.  

Car Shopping Again Part 5!

About 4 years ago I had a 4 part series on shopping for my brother B's new car.  After much wrangling and dealing and shopping, we ended up getting B a 2014 Buick LaCrosse.  I'm actually kind of surprised as B has since replaced that car with some heavy help from me on the shopping front.  BUT, that newer car died and needs to be replaced, so let's jump back into this.  And fair warning, there will definitely be a part 6 as B doesn't have a car yet.

Counting Is Fun

I saw this over at Karrie's Korner, where Karrie is reposting Sara's old blog posts (she's up to around 2010 now).  So, you could either say I'm copying Karrie's work from yesterday or I'm copying Sara's work from 14 years ago.  Regardless, lets see if I can get through this without depressing myself.

Continuing Gamer Gurl

I've just now posted chapter 34 of Gamer Gurl to CHYOA.  It's just over 82,000 words.   For comparison Just Dance was around 76,000 words and Thesis was around 41,000 words.  I've created a monster.  I haven't touched Your Not The Boss Of Me since November and right now have no plans to get back into that saddle.  Lemme explain.

 It feels like a short four weeks and a long month, both at the same time.  

2023 - And I thought it couldn't get worse

I keep hoping for that turn around year.  That 2013 where it was bad but it got better and then became good.  That year that was the 'first' in a long series of good years.  What was my last 'good' year?  2019?  2018?  Right now it doesn't feel like I'll ever get back to a good year and may just start hoping for it to stop getting worse.
