This will be really quick.
Sorry for not updating for a bit. I know I have a lot of balls being juggled at once right now, and there has been movement on almost all fronts. Job hunt, Finances, B's new car, Medical... but something came up that's more important.
I finished Gamer Gurl Part 2. At least I finished the chapter by chapter posting at CHYOA.com. I now am going through and re-reading it and re-editing it. A lot of it is just fixing some spelling errors, some fat finger wrong word usage, some phrasing, and stuff like that. But some of it is fixing story parts that I set up and never resolved, or adding a more thorough beginning to something I 'finished' later.
For me, this is tedious. I obviously know what's going to happen and feel like I've already written this once and then edited it once before I published each individual chapter. But this is more to make the whole 'Part 2' fit as a cohesive single story.
I'm currently about halfway through and hope to have it finished up sometime this week. At that point I'll start publishing it to Fictionmania (I think it'll be 8 chapters again, just longer chapters than Part 1 was), and post something here and on my main blog about the story.
After that, I'll update each of my topics. The job hunt, the car, and finally a good solid 'Update' post. I'm avoiding doing those now as they'd simply take me away from finishing this edit.
So, sorry if I'm leaving anybody hanging. I have plenty to say and will get to it soon enough.
