A couple meh weeks, but probably still worth keeping up on these updates.  

My first trip to the ER

I don't believe many people can escape having to visit the emergency room during their lifespan.  At 50 years old though, I had a pretty good run going, especially with as bad as my migraines have been, and I was hoping I'd get into my 60s or 70s with no need of an ER trip.  Whelp... that's done!

Writing Update

nullI've been away on vacation as I wrote about in my previous postprevious post, and haven't written a thing since May 10th.  But that's not to say writing hasn't been on my mind.  If you're interested, come inside and read about a tumblr idea I have, where I stand on It's A Man's World, on the next part of Gamer Gurl, and even thoughts I had on the secretary story I had going You're Not The Boss Of Me!

Now THAT was a Vacation!

I'm used to the normal 'This vacation was far too short' scenario after finishing a vacation.  I've also experienced the 'That was nice, but I'm ready to return to normal' variation.  I think this is the first time I've experienced the full range of feelings, from 'that was great' to 'that was a once in a lifetime experience' to 'I shouldn't have done this' and 'this sucks' on this vacation.  This is going to take some time to put right in my head, to re-live, and to parse out for you.
