I didn't think that I would go more than two months without an update on the writing of this story, but any time I considered putting up a post like this I just turned that energy into writing the story itself. I mean, that's an easy choice to make. I'll also say that once I stepped away from checking on D+X daily and trying to keep up there, I made a LOT more headway on this story. I mentioned in a previous update that this is the fastest I've written this far and even though its slowed down, it's still coming out faster than any other story. I have 50 chapters written in just the two months!
So far, the comments have been good. People are interested, seem to like the story formatting, like the characters, and are getting involved enough to get upset at character's actions. Just like getting upset at Todd in Gamer Gurl: Evolutions they're getting upset at Grace in YNTBOM.
I've more or less finished Acts one and two. I'm at the point of the surgery which I'm having as the first part of Act three instead of the last part of Act two. As a way to separate the acts, I've continued with the whole prologue idea. If you remember, the first chapter of the story was a prologue where Paris was already in the role of Mal's secretary. Then I 'started' the story with Chapter 1. Well, 25 chapters in when I finished with Act one, I made an 'Interlude' and pushed forward to when Paris was trapped by Mal and was giving him a hand job. It was a fun distraction. I've now posted a second Interlude that pushes further forward with Paris having her feminized body and talking about giving oral to men, although I'm still hiding the Darnell relationship. More on that later. With as big as the third act is, I hope to find a way to add at least one more Interlude. Hell, I still need to make a real outline for Act three as it's nothing more than an unorganized list of scenes. I can currently get through the surgery and the immediate aftermath, but that's about it.
Let's go over the characters one by one, how they've changed, and how they're progressing:
Paris - Our heroine. She's accepted that she has to play the part of a woman for at least a year. She's even getting used to having to play that role as Mal wants, as a sexy bimbo tart. She flirts with the men at work, and she's been shunned by all of the women at work besides Grace and Trixie. I'll go over her relationship with each in their own sections. Paris has been learning that she's submissive. At least while she's being feminine. She's forced to be submissive with Mal and he forces her to act submissive with the other men in the office. She is willingly submissive to Trixie as Trixie willingly has sex with her and enjoys getting Paris off as much as she enjoys Paris getting her off. And she's more or less trapped into being submissive with Grace, but finds that she doesn't have a real problem with it and finds some level of joy in it. It kind of helps as it falls into the title of the story.... You're Not The Boss Of Me is turning into a whine as in reality EVERYONE is the boss of Paris.
I've also set up her eventual fall into sex with men. She's had a scene with getting Mal off accidently while sitting on his lap. Mal took that further and forced her into giving him hand jobs. Mal sees it as just a means of relieving his sexual tension as it's building up and he 'blames' Paris for the situation he's in. He also forces Paris to brag to everyone in the office that they're having sex, including having weekly dates. So Paris flirts with Darnell about giving head, sits in the laps of the other managers when giving reports, and talks to Trixie about her love of giving head, going so far as to actually give Trixie advice as Trixie does NOT enjoy giving blow jobs. That's where Paris stands right now.
Mal - Our villain. He's accepted that he's stuck with Paris. He truly believes that Paris wants to transition into womanhood and that Paris is either lying to him directly or lying to herself and just needs to be convinced. His main evidence is how well Paris passes as a woman, from body, to makeup and hair, to facial shape, to voice. He adds to that that a 'real man' wouldn't have volunteered for a task like this and would have chosen possible jail over continuing to live as a woman for a year. And everything that Paris is forced to do and accepts doing, seems to prove that point to Mal. For instance, Paris could have forced the issue and NOT rubbed him through his pants while sitting on his lap. After she did that, she didn't have to actually give him a hand job. Much like Paris didn't think he was forcing himself on the models, Mal doesn't see himself as forcing himself on Paris, he sees Paris accepting doing these things. He's even 'respecting' her desire to not have more intimate sex and he's 'nice' by rubbing her through her panties and getting her off even over her protests. I've established his bad marriage but have more details to go. I've set up that he's working on an absolute monster of a contract as he's been working on it exclusively for the entire story which has gone on for about five months now. I'm also playing up that he's falling for Paris, though he's not admitting that to himself yet and playing it up as 'blaming her' for his sexual situation and simply making her bail him out with her hand and her actions around the office (and their dates).
Grace - Our roomie. I thought I set up Grace well from the beginning. She was fairly self centered but nice and friendly. She was clearly a dominant lesbian that went for the tarty bimbo type. As Paris slowly shifted more and more into that role, Grace got more and more interested. When it became clear that Paris was stuck in that role and had to play up being Bimbo all the time, it made Grace incredibly turned on. The last straw was Paris' counselor making her play the role of 'housewife' at home. Basically, Paris had to 'serve' Grace and that just turned Grace's arousal up to 11. Here she was living with a tarted up, sexy, curvy, bimbo girl that was cooking her dinner, cleaning the apartment, and doing whatever she said to do. Grace simply upped the game and started to sexually dominate Paris. As Grace is distinctly lesbian and not Bi or Pan like Trixie, she has nothing to do with Paris's penis, leaving Paris more and more frustrated. At the same time though, Paris enjoys the closeness they're getting. When he's told to NOT have sex with Grace any longer (in the second Interlude) he even pines that he misses the intimacy but still likes being tied up and forced to watch Grace masturbate. Trixie - Our gal pal. I've played up Trixie as an enigma. She's clearly a bimbo. Blonde, big breasted, happy go lucky, overtly sexy, sex crazy, and seemingly simple... but at the same time she has a masters degree, is balancing work that she enjoys a boyfriend and now a girlfriend, and is dominate toward Paris. She's simultaneously the bimbo that Paris has to live up to and the bimbo that's Paris's only 'normal sexual outlet'. Sure, Paris is still dressed up as a woman when he has sex with Trixie but Trixie has no problem playing with his penis. And where Grace doesn't care about Paris' penis getting stuck behind her prosthetic, Trixie feels bad and works on getting Paris off in different ways (she introduced Paris to her little pink dildo and anal orgasms). I've established that Trixie believes Paris is a true transitioning woman and is interested in sex with men. They 'gal pal' talk about sex with 'their men'. She's fully on board with and believes that Paris is having sex with Mal. At least oral sex. She talks often of her boyfriend with Paris but Paris doesn't yet know that her boyfriend is Darnell.
Suzy - Our therapist. Suzy, or Dr. Martin, is fully on board with her patient Paris transitioning from being a man into being a woman. She sees Paris' hesitation of being more feminine, more sexual, and more girly as obstacles to help her get over. Paris always has to be careful when she talks with Suzy as she has to act like she wants to transition to keep up the act with work and the insurance company, but at the same time slow down the transition as Suzy believes the ultimate goal is to suggest full transformative surgery. Suzy and Paris have talked about hormones and she gave Paris three prescriptions as they couldn't decide on patches, pills, or injections. In a mistake ridden escapade, Paris ended up filling all of the prescriptions. She gets the injections in her name and gives them to herself. She had the pills sent to Grace who is deviously giving them to Paris as daily vitamins. And she had the patches delivered to the office where Mal picked them up and is giving them to her as nicotine patches (I've played up that Paris is still having trouble quitting smoking and had even talked to Suzy about that). Suzy has forced Paris to play the part of girly girl Holly homemaker in her apartment, which turned Grace on. Suzy has forced Paris to thank Mal for getting her off and introducing her to being dominated, which of course feeds into Mal's ego driven dream that Paris wants this.
Darnell - Our main flirt. Darnell's place in the story so far has been background... unless the reader has read enough between the lines and realized that he's the mysterious boyfriend of Trixie. Unknown of course to Paris, Darnell gets to hear from Paris how much she likes to give head and flirts with her constantly at work. His girlfriend, Trixie, tells him about how Paris confirms that with her, that she likes to give head. Everything that Paris is 'faking' with both Darnell and Trixie is being repeated to the other and making it sound that much more convincing. This of course will lead up to the eventual scene where Trixie 'helps' Paris by introducing her boyfriend Darnell into their sex life.
Everyone else - The rest of the secretaries, male office staff, and even the guy whose phone number Paris got, Art, are all background characters. I think I'd like Art to come back in for another scene, maybe one with Mal giving him permission to pursue 'his girl' Paris. The named guys at the office, Frank and Thomas, will have a part at the Christmas party where Paris really gets put through her paces.
What's funny is that the most vocal readers at CHYOA seem to be cheering on a relationship with Mal and seem to hate the relationship with Grace. I'd have to look it up, but I'm wondering if it's the same person that dislikes the relationship with Sarah in Gamer Gurl. When I started writing this I wasn't sure where the emotional anchor was going to be for Paris, but I've more or less pushed it to be Mal instead of Grace. Not because of the reader's comments, although they DO help.
I can continue to write for awhile as the procedure and the immediate aftermath will take a few chapters. The procedure, waking up from the procedure and learning what's been done, healing enough to talk to somebody, talking to Sinclair and him doubling down that Paris is stuck, Paris coping with this new traumatic change, and that 'part' will be capped with her participating in sex again. First with Grace, then with Mal (hand job along with Mal fingering Paris) and eventually Trixie. Then Trixie introducing Darnell. I have that much of the next Act in mind. But before I finish that, I need to write an outline for at least the first half of this act.
I'd like by the end of that first half for Paris and Mal to get together for oral sex. It's going to be a two way street as he'll insist on Paris going down on him but he'll also go down on her. Naturally he won't get much from licking her fake pussy, but he'll like Paris' reaction when he licks her ass and he'll happily do that while fingering her, blowing Paris' mind. Oh, and he'll have seen the toys and might use those too.
Speaking of the toys, I have a scene right out of a movie in mind with Paris wearing her vibrating panties and someone in the office getting the remote. I haven't added that to the scenes, but I want it in there.
I just have to have a thread between Paris giving head to Darnell to her giving head to Mal. And then a thread between her giving head to Mal and the Christmas party where she's used sexually by everybody. Trixie and Darnell, Grace, Frank and Thomas, Mal, and more. That culmination there will be Mal being the first man to have penetrative sex with her. Anal sex.
For now, I have a natural built in break as I'm going down to Texas to visit with A & J and their family. I won't be able to write the next chapter until next week. Hopefully I'll have an epiphany of some sort and get a way to weave these threads into a tapestry.
